To file a claim for a Canada Tracked shipment with no Chit Chats Insurance you must submit the claim here. This applies to claims that are covered by the carrier insurance for Canada Tracked shipments which covers up to $100 of the shipment's value.
To file a claim for a USPS shipment (Priority Mail) with no Chit Chats Insurance you must submit the claim directly to USPS here. This applies to claims that are covered by the carrier insurance for USPS Priority Mail shipments which covers between $50-$100 of the shipment's value.
To file a claim for a shipment with Chit Chats Insurance your shipment must show as being received by Chit Chats in our system in order to be eligible for insurance. It is up to you to ensure your shipments are received by Chit Chats. You can do this by logging in to check that shipments are received after you have dropped your shipments off at our branch.
How to File a Chit Chats Insurance Claim
Once you have waited the required time period, you can file an insurance claim from within your Chit Chats account or directly at the Insurer's website. To file from within your account, click on the desired shipment and then click on "File a Claim" (right of page).

How to Check your Claim Status
To check the status of an opened claim, follow the "File a claim" link from your Chit Chats account or go directly to the Insurer's website.
You will need to enter the carrier tracking number for the shipment when searching for the status of your claim.
