Our Newsletter

Our monthly newesletter is a great way to keep up tp date on important announcements, exciting new features and any changes that may impact you while shipping with Chit Chats.

To subscribe to our newsletter head to your Settings (left sidebar) > Newsletter & Notifications and click on ‘Subscribe me now’.

Our Notifications

If there's an important update to your account, at your favourite branch or in your Chit Chats region, we will send you a notification. To check your Chit Chats notifications, click on the bell icon at the top of the page in your account.

You can manage your preferences for these notifications at any time from your settings.

You can customize if you wish to receive an email in addition to the notification in your Chit Chats account. This can be enabled for Chit Chats, branch and custom shipping notifications.

Go to your Settings (left sidebar menu) > Newsletter & Notifications. Here you can enable or disable email notifications for additional updates.

Please note that you cannot unsubscribe from email notifications that are service3 related or concern your transactions and shipments such as credits, refunds, statements, lost or returned shipments.

To customize your notifications by branch, you can do this in two ways:

1. Auto-subscribe to Branch Notifications

Leave the notifications to us. We’ll make sure you’re subscribed to the branches you regularly drop off at. You can unsubscribe from these branches at any time. However, when this setting is enabled, dropping off at a branch will resubscribe you to its updates.

If you prefer to select your favourite branches manually, be sure to disable this option.

2. Subscribe to Branches Manually

Select however many branches you want to keep up with and unsubscribe from a branch at any time. We'll only send you notifications for your preferred branches, tailored to your shipments or if there is an impact across your Chit Chats region.

You may see notifications for your favourite branches about:

  • Accessibility issues (i.e. limited parking access, construction or power outages)
  • Upcoming operational changes (i.e. new business hours, temporary branch closures)

Site Status Updates

For any urgent matters you can expect to see a banner alert at the top of our webpages. You can also check out our status page for notes on the performance of the Chit Chats platform. 

To subscribe to updates go to status.chitchats.com and click ‘Subscribe to Updates’. You will be asked for an email or you can get the Atom or RSS feed version. Subscribers will get notifications whenever Chit Chats creates, updates or resolves an issue. We recommend that API users subscribe to these updates to receive real-time updates on the API system performance.
