A packing slip is a document that provides a summary of the items in your shipment, including their quantities and descriptions. Unlike an invoice, it does not typically contain any payment information. Including a packing slip in your shipment ensures your customers receive the correct products in the right quantities and also helps you cross-reference your orders. Packing slips are particularly valuable for fulfillment, as they allow you to verify the accuracy of the order before it ships. Luckily, Chit Chats offers packing slips; however, this feature is in beta. If you would like to have access, please contact us

How can I start using Chit Chats Packing Slips?

The packing slip feature is currently in beta for Chit Chats accounts. If you'd like to enable this feature, please contact us, and we will enable it for you. Once access is enabled, follow these steps to print packing slips:

  1. Go to Settings > Printing

  2. On this page, you will now see a Packing Slip section below the label size options

Here, you can enable or disable packing slips and choose which optional columns you'd like to include. Once packing slips are enabled, one will print each time you print a shipping label using a label printer.
