The Chit Chats platform uses credits to pay for shipments and other Chit Chats services. To add credits you will first need to add a payment method to your account. Simply add an accepted payment method to start adding credits to your account.
How to add a payment method
- Login to your Chit Chats account
- Navigate to your Settings / Credits & Billing:
- Click on Add Credits (left sidebar underneath black Import Shipments button) or
- Click on Settings (left sidebar) > Credits & Billing
- Click on Add Payment Method and enter your card details. You may be asked for: card number, expiry date, CVC and postal code.
Once you have successfully added your payment method, you can choose to add credits as needed or set up an auto reload to make sure that you always have enough credits in your account.* Your payment method will only be charged when you add credits. Chit Chats will not draw funds from your payment method to cover insufficient credit amounts unless an auto reload has been set up.
*A minimum transaction of $10 is required.
How to edit or remove a payment method
If you need to update your payment method after it expires or to switch or remove cards, please:
- Login to your Chit Chats account
- Navigate to Settings / Credits & Billing
- Under Payment Method, click on ‘Edit’ or ‘Remove’
We use Stripe, a trusted and secure payment processor, to encrypt and store your data for transactions. Chit Chats does not store any card information on our servers, nor do we have access to this information. Learn more on Stripe.
