Due to limited transportation availability and increased safety measures most carriers have removed any service guarantees. Delivery times are always estimated and never guaranteed. We strongly suggest advising your customers of these delays accordingly.
Partner carriers such as USPS provide tracking for a majority of their services. If the postage you purchased on Chit Chats is eligible for partner carrier tracking, you will immediately receive a carrier tracking number for the shipment. Find the carrier for your shipment here.
Partner carrier tracking updates are displayed within your Chit Chats account as well as Chit Chats internal tracking events. You can also view tracking updates directly from the carrier by going to the partner carrier’s tracking page.
- Enter the carrier's tracking number on their tracking page or
- Click on the carrier tracking number directly from the shipment details within your Chit Chats account.
Please note that carrier tracking events may not be displayed in your time zone.
Depending on the service, partner carrier tracking may either be full or partial.
Full Carrier Tracking
Carrier tracking updates are provided by the partner carrier. These updates are provided once the shipment is transferred to the carrier. Depending on the destination and service, tracking updates are provided along the shipment’s journey whenever the partner carrier processes and scans the shipment.
Partial Carrier Tracking
Carrier tracking updates are provided by the partner carrier. These updates are provided once the shipment is transferred to the carrier. There will not be a final delivery tracking update. After 60 days have passed, the Chit Chats platform will mark these types of shipments as archived since there is no final delivery confirmation.
Depending on the carrier, service and destination the amount of tracking events may vary.
