The pandemic has caused unprecedented delays with shipping and our partner carriers are experiencing significant delays in transit times. Due to limited transportation availability and increased safety measures most carriers have removed any service guarantees. Delivery times are always estimated and never guaranteed. We strongly suggest advising your customers of these delays accordingly.
Chit Chats works with partner carriers for the final delivery of your shipment. Shipments are received at Chit Chats then handed off to partner carriers to do the final mile delivery to you. Some of the partner carriers we work with are:
- Canada Post for Canadian Shipments
- USPS and UPS MI* for U.S. shipments
- USPS and Asendia for international Shipments
Most carriers like USPS will provide tracking for the majority of their services. If the postage used to send your shipment is eligible for carrier tracking, you will be able to track your shipment using the carrier tracking number to search directly on the carrier's website.
How to track shipments
All tracking updates will be available on the Chit Chats tracking page however, you can also view updates straight from the carrier. Either enter the carrier tracking number into the carrier's website or click the link from the Chit Chats tracking page.
Please note that carrier tracking events may not be displayed in your timezone. For this reason, timestamps for carrier tracking events may differ from timestamps for Chit Chats tracking events.
Depending on the service, carrier tracking may be either full or partial.
Full Carrier Tracking
Tracking updates for the shipment will be available after being inducted with the carrier and will continue to update until final delivery has been confirmed.
Partial Carrier Tracking
Tracking updates for the shipment will be available after being inducted with the carrier but tracking will not update upon final delivery. In this case, the delivery of the shipment will be assumed after the expected delivery date has passed. The amount of tracking updates made available to you may vary based on carrier, service and even the shipment destination.
