Curious about the return address on Chit Chats labels? This article will guide you through the different return addresses for Canadian, U.S., and international shipments. You'll also find information on how to update your return address (U.S. and international only) if needed.
Canadian Shipments
For Canadian shipments, the return address is automatically set to the hub for your region and cannot be modified. If a shipment is returned, it will be directed to our hub, where it will be processed and then forwarded back to you. Please be aware that return fees will apply.
U.S. and International Shipments
For U.S. and international shipments, a U.S. return address is required. By default the U.S. return address is our Niagara Falls, New York U.S. warehouse.
Chit Chats Manages Your U.S. Returns
Using the Chit Chats U.S. return address means that we will manage your returns and bring them back into Canada with our customs broker. To process returns back to Canada, you’ll need:
This allows us to work with our broker to clear your return shipments back into Canada to you. There are return fees for return shipments being processed back to you.
If you prefer not to register with CARM or have a POA, you have two options:
Manage Your Own U.S. Returns
Use your own U.S. return address by adding it to your return settings. This will update your profile so your labels will show this as the U.S. return address. This way you can manage the returns to Canada yourself. Once you update your settings the change will only apply to new shipments (it will not update previously created shipments).
Disposal Address
Opt for our U.S. disposal service which has your returns sent to our U.S. disposal facility and discarded at no charge.Once you update your settings the change will only apply to new shipments (it will not update previously created shipments).
Note: Only USPS International services support returns for international shipments. Chit Chats International does not have a return service.
